About Me
Spoiler alert.. I'm probably a lot like you!
I have worries, I get frustrated, stressed, and feel overwhelmed at times. I have experienced grief, loss, trauma, menopause, divorce..
I am a single parent of teenagers. I am still “figuring out” lots of things (the big questions and smaller ones) and sometimes want to go hide in a forest and run away from life's responsibilities.

Yet I feel truly blessed that I have my practices and that is why I am so genuinely passionate about sharing what I know with YOU.
Yoga (incorporating breathwork, meditation and philosophy), helps to keep me grounded, focused, connected to my body and my Self. I sleep better, feel more energised, I am less reactive, more open minded and just generally able to cope better and enjoy life as it is, in the moment.

Yoga in the West (and particularly on Instagram) can feel like it is not the place for everyone and that it is an “exclusive and elusive” club only welcome to certain demographics, body shapes or gender. I have certainly been made to feel uncomfortable in classes (even as a teacher) and have in the past felt that I am not worthy or do not belong in such an environment.
Yoga can be seen as snobby, elitist, out of reach and available only to the enlightened, flexible, thin, female or wealthy. It is my mission to break down those barriers and to do my best to make my classes accessible to everyone – ESPECIALLY to people who think that yoga “is not for them” (us) because it most certainly is!

Off the mat I can be found mainly outside, forever reading three books at once, regularly cooking, mostly running late but always pondering how yoga would change the world if everyone were to give it a go.. it has genuinely changed my life and so many others for the better.
